Where all of our work started?

In 1981 God called Rev. Christudas Moses, 1943, with his wife Sarojamma, 1945, into the Slum Area Benson Town in Bangalore. At first, they lived in a small hut made of mud and sheets. Inspite of their poverty they were ready to bring help, support, care with the Gospel to the poor. There they raised a small House Church named as “Bethesda Church” which was a God designed and given help work and ministry.

Bro. Christudas Moses was working in a government office (regional provident fund) as a clerk. In the evenings, he started using the powerful Jesus Film to present to the people in slums and villages with the help of a horse cart.

He and his wife worked hard for their living. Bro. Moses spent 50% for family and another portion of 50% for the poor and needy people in the ministry. Their small tent was divided half for church/ social activities and a small room for the family. God blessed them with six children, three boys and three girls. From this place his children were raised and were given the vision to serve the poor and needy especially widows and children.
